The Toshiba BDX-1200 is a Blu Ray players that doubles as region free DVD player. It plays all regions 0-8 for DVDs and Blu Rays from region A. Only including region free playback on DVDs allows us to offer the BDX-1200 at a discounted price when compared to region free Blu Ray players. The BDX-1200 includes an SD card slot for viewing JPG photos or for MP3 playback and it also has an ethernet port for access all the online features of BD-Live.

The Toshiba BDX-1200 is a great entry level blu-ray and region free DVD player with full 1080P support and up converstion, SD memory card slot and HDMI 1.3 output. If your are a moderate blu-ray user who is looking for a stylish player to watch an occasional blu-ray along with DVDs from outside the US then the Toshiba BDX-1200 blu-ray player maybe just the ticket for you. With the added functionality of an SD Card slot and support for AVCHD files and built in jpeg picture viewer this player has a great feature set found usually on players costing twice as much.
