I purchased the Pioneer DV 393-S Region Free DVD player to replace another region free DVD player I used in the past. The plug 'n play features were very attractive to me and the product works really well. I have used it primarily to view DVDs from Region 2, or the UK, as well as of course Region 1 DVDs. I would definitely recommend this product to someone else.

We had several foreign DVDs that we wanted to play from Germany. We’ve been very happy with the Pioneer DV 393S region free DVD player. It’s a good product bc it’s small in size and was very easy to install. Setting up the region free DVD player was a simple as setting up a Region 1 DVD player.
There are a lot of people out here in Silicon Valley that are looking for a DVD player like this- one that can play all region DVDs. I found your product because there was a write up about multi-code DVD players and the World Clad ICOS 725 technology. Yours was one of the Web sites mentioned.

I purchased the Pioneer Elite DV46A region free DVD player about a month ago. It’s working really well. So far, I’ve played Region 1, Region 2 (Danish, English) and Region 4 (Australia, New Zealand) DVDs on it and they look great.
I absolutely would recommend the Elite’s region free DVD player and its World Clad ICOS 725 chipset. If anyone has an interest in a DVD player that plays all regions, especially movies that are not available in the US, this is the product for you.
